An oil-on-canvas abstract landscape inspired by the sandstone formations of Wadi Rum at twilight. Thick impasto passages in burnt sienna and raw umber give way to thin glazes of cobalt violet in the sky. The painting captures the monumental stillness of the desert without resorting to literal depiction.
